First Track Day of the Season: A great start at SPA-Francorchamps

The air was crisp and the asphalt dry as the Bitrock Team kicked off the 2026 season on April 10th. After months of preparation, the paddock came alive with the sound of engines, marking the return of track action.

We brought two high-performance machines to the circuit: the Porsche GT3 992.2, known as "One Eyed Bastard" and the Porsche GT4 RS equipped with a Manthey kit, nicknamed "Bandit" Both cars performed reliably throughout the day, handling the cool conditions with ease.

The day was structured around three main activities. In one car, a young driver spent the full day under the guidance of Alexis from NV Academy, our coaching partner. The session focused on building technique and confidence, with Alexis providing consistent, professional instruction. In the second car, we offered passenger rides and first-drive experiences for several customers, giving them a chance to feel the power of our cars in a controlled environment.

The event was made possible by strong partnerships. Curbstone, the organizer, managed the logistics efficiently, ensuring smooth transitions between sessions and a well-run event from start to finish. Their coordination allowed the team to focus entirely on the driving experience.

The atmosphere in the paddock was professional yet relaxed. We shared the track with several race teams conducting testing sessions, which added a competitive edge to the day and highlighted the serious nature of the event. Back in the pits, the Bitrock Team pit crew worked diligently to keep the cars running at peak performance, handling quick turnarounds and safety checks without interruption.

By the end of the day, the catering had been well-received, and the overall mood was positive. The combination of professional coaching, customer experiences, and efficient organization made for a successful first event.
